Design Your Own lets you create a Pine & Poppy heirloom stocking using five colors from our curated palette of hand-dyed merino wool.

Choose your five colors and the order you’d like them to appear, and I’ll hand knit them into a one-of-a-kind stocking made especially for you. Mix colors from the Signature and Heritage palettes, stay within one collection, or create a combination entirely your own.

Each stocking is knit using 100% merino wool, an incredibly soft, super-bulky yarn that is artisan hand dyed for beautiful depth and variation. Your stocking is finished with a coordinating handmade wool pom.

HOW IT WORKS

Choose five colors from the available color options and select the order you would like them to appear on your stocking. Please refer to the color guide in the listing photos when making your selections.

Your finished stocking will follow the five-color design shown in the listing photos. Unlike The Stocking Collaborative, this option does not include changes to the stocking construction, stitch patterns, number of colors, embellishments, or other custom design details.

HAND-DYED YARN

Because the yarn is artisan hand dyed, variations in color and tone naturally occur from skein to skein and dye lot to dye lot. Your finished stocking may vary from the color guide and photographs shown. These variations are part of the beauty of hand-dyed yarn and make every stocking uniquely its own.

Some colorways—especially highly variegated colors such as Rosalina—can vary significantly in color placement and intensity. Please refer to the color variation photos before ordering.

TURNAROUND TIME
Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for your Design Your Own stocking to be completed and ready to ship.

Each stocking is made to order in the five colors you select. Because our yarn is artisan hand-dyed and I do not keep every colorway in stock at all times, some colors may need to be ordered specifically for your stocking before knitting can begin. If all of your selected colors are currently available, your stocking may be completed sooner.

This timeframe allows for yarn ordering when necessary, hand knitting, finishing, and the care that goes into creating each stocking.

SIZE + CARE

Approximately 18 inches in length.

Because every stocking is knit by hand, finished size, shape, and drape will naturally vary slightly. Different colors and dye lots can behave differently when knit, and stockings may lengthen slightly when hung or filled.

Gently hand wash and lay flat to dry.

Each Design Your Own stocking is made to order specifically for you. Due to the personalized nature of this item, all sales are final unless there is a defect or error with your order.
